Nimarata Randhawa, aka Nikki Haley, A Boeing Corporate Officer Whose Antics Led to the Exploding and Crashing 737 Max

The poorly designed and built Boeing 737 Max had crashed twice, killing hundreds of people. The FAA grounded it. Thanks to Nimarata Randhawa, aka Nikki Haley, the plane would fly again with near disastrous results.

If you haven’t done so, read David Cay Johnston’s “Huge Boeing Scandal Behind Alaska Airlines Catastrophe,” and The Lever’s series of investigative reports about why the Boeing 737 is crashing and exploding. You’ll probably be shocked, as I was. Corruption and greed run rampant in our corporations, corporatized government, including South Carolina, Nikki Haley, and Boeing Aircraft.

Not embracing her beautiful name given at birth, Nimarata Randhawa, Nikki Haley takes on an Anglo name to not fight racial discrimination that plagued her as a child in South Carolina. Instead she embraces an Anglo name and joins the side that created and maintains White Nationalism, corporate greed and self aggrandization at the expense of poor people, often minority groups. I don’t see Kamala Harris acting this way, for example, nor Rashida Tlaib or Ro Khanna.

In a race to the bottom with other Southern States, Nimarata Haley fiercely opposed unionization drives at a Boeing factory in South Carolina. Cheap labor using low quality and poorly trained workers was what Haley offered to Boeing. With dollar signs flashing in their heads, Boeing management gladly accepted. The deal included taxpayers giving the Boeing corporation money. It’s another example of socialism for the rich, crapitalism for the middle class. Nikki gives the rich what they want, and in return, Nikki receives money from the same people to bolster her lifestyle and campaigns. This is the woman who never learned the cause of the Civil War, but did learn how to take a bribe and give a bribe.

Cheap labor and poorly trained workers is just what one wants when they’re flying in a high tech aircraft at 30,000 ft. Haley, then serving on the board of Boeing in 2020, helped kill an initiative designed to force Boeing to more comprehensively disclose its spending to influence politicians and safety regulators, government filings show. Great, no wonder she has so many corporations funding her presidential campaign.

The Boeing board’s opposition to the shareholder measure came the same year that the company was lobbying the Federal Aviation Administration on “certification,” or approving planes to fly — and the agency lifted its grounding order of the company’s 737 fleet, which had been in effect since two of the airliners had crashed in 2018 and 2019, killing 346 people.

As David Cay Johnson writes, “Digging below the surface, The Lever found a frightening tale of political influence involving former Trump administration official Nikki Haley, dark money campaign contributions, cowed aviation regulators, safety waivers and more.” Troubling evidence in their report is that executives at a major Boeing contractor, Spirit Aerosystems, ignored safety warnings.

Although the recent scandal about Boeing surrounds its 737 Max, for years airlines have been refusing to purchase the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing’s flagship aircraft, if it is manufactured in South Carolina instead of Everett, Washington. Nimarata Haley arranged a $900 million taxpayer subsidy for Boeing to build its 787 Dreamliners in her state. It’s all about corporate greed with reduced costs and playing one redneck state against the other to receive taxpayers dollars to make the rich even richer. South Carolina taxpayers have given Boeing hundreds of millions. Nimarata likes that, and benefits from the giveaways greatly.

One of the greedy corporate maneuvers was to spend $69 billion buying back their companies’ stock. Big deal, you say. Well, here’s how it works. Stock buybacks reduce the number of stock shares outstanding. That makes each remaining stock share more valuable. That, in turn, enriches corporate executives, because most of their excessive pay is in stock options. Those options grow in value when the stock price rises, as typically happens when there are fewer shares in the market. So, basically what they’re doing is using Boeing income to make themselves richer instead of investing the income in workers or other measures to improve quality.

As the greed continued and people were dying, five years ago during the Trump administration, Chinese aviation authorities, not US, were the first to ground all 737 Max airliners.

Here’s one greedy aspect of what Boeing has been doing. Faulty cockpit software was one cause of the crashes. And Boeing executives and directors were so cheap that instead of hiring even adequate programmers, forget the best, Boeing hired part-timers for as little as $9 an hour. Think about what The Lever found. Commercial jets full of crash dummies (the middle class) flying for executive and director enrichment, paying a paltry $9 an hour for programmers.

The Corporate Duopoly, Democrats and Republicans, Instructs Biden to Protect Shipping Containers, Not Innocent People

As the rich get richer, billionaires doubling their wealth since 2020, they more and more instruct politicians around the world what to do. Biden, a puppet for billionaires, including Israeli Zionist billionaires, has broadened his war against innocent, poor people by not only directly attacking Palestine, but now also directly attacking Yemen. Signing the UN anti-genocide bill, Yemen came to the aid of Palestinians who are being slaughtered by the Israel-USA colonizers, by seizing an Israeli ship without harming its occupants. Most people in the US have no idea what’s happening in the Middle East as the media is flooded with interviews of people who are shills of, often paid by, the Military-Industrial Complex. As Fair has reported, “guests invited to speak on Gaza skew strongly toward US politicians—especially those with strong financial influence by the military industrial complex and pro-Israel advocates. The resulting conversations leave little room for dissent from a pro-war stance.”

In order to protect the shipping containers on the Israeli ships so that Israelis can continue to sip wine and nibble their crudites on the occupied coast near Tel-Aviv, and to keep murdering innocent poor people in Palestine so that Israel can expand it’s colonization of other people’s land, Joe Biden ordered the poor people of Yemen to be bombed.

In declaring war on Yemen, Biden now invites a direct response from Yemen. Joe got what he asked for. Yemen has now attacked a US ship in the Gulf of Aden, and another ship headed to Israel in the Red Sea. Shipping in the area will be further disrupted and more expensive, yielding more strain on the economy. Most ships in the Red Sea are now US military vessels and most commercial carriers are re-routing to avoid the area. Good job, Joe. This is an example that Biden is an idiot, and many of us know it. As a result, Joe needs campaign cash, a lots of it because he’s sinking low in popularity with US citizens. Can Joe buy this election? So far, he’s (as a puppet) purchased the Democratic Party because the billionaires, including the Zionist billionaires, have purchased the Democratic party. Speak up against the genocide, and the Zionist billionaires will take you out. AIPAC is one way, but Zionist donations are a major means to control the population and force the Democratic Party to become more conservative and pro-Israel.

Before Republicans changed it under US law, political action committees – commonly referred to as PACs – and individuals can contribute only limited funds directly to political candidates. However, in a 2010 decision, the Republican stacked Supreme Court ruled that free speech protections guaranteed by the First Amendment of the US Constitution give entities the right to spend unlimited amounts of money to oppose or support candidates. The ability to purchase the US government was now complete. Corporations, billionaires, Zionists, Russian oligarchs now have major control of both parties.

And the Republican Party was fully purchased during the Reagan administration. Stock ownership of the Republican Party now includes Russian Oligarchs. And large ownership shares of both parties have been purchased by Zionist billionaires in the US and Israel, who have a strong lobby.

Deregulated and Privatized USA Space Program is a Disaster

As public-led space programs miraculously land helicopters on Mars that repeatedly fly for years, deregulated, privately-led space programs blow-up rockets and are only able to accomplish what a publicly-led NASA did more than 60 years ago before they landed on the moon – orbital flight. In January 2024, a moon lander spaceship from a private company in Pittsburgh blew up in the atmosphere, and in February 2020 a Texas-based private company crash landed a spacecraft on the moon and the ship’s mission was scrubbed. The space ship would never had made it to the moon if left up to the private company, but NASA engineers stepped in to enable the ship to land. NASA knows what it’s doing, many of these companies don’t. And they’re wasting our tax dollars.

After WWII, the US brought about 1,800 German scientists and engineers to develop our space and rocket program. Dr. Werhner von Braun, Ph.D headed the program. He led the USA space program that put men on the moon in 1969, and he had a cadre of German scientists and engineers who had decades of state-supported experience in designing and building rockets in Germany. Their experience was translated to the USA space program. Now that experience has been stripped as the USA deregulates and privatizes NASA in a Reaganesque plan. The results – one disaster after another, and companies such as SpaceX only accomplish what NASA did back in the early 1960s before we went to and returned from the moon – orbital flight.

Much taxpayer money is being wasted on billionaire’s follies of watching rockets blowup - as Musk says, “it’s cool.” Meanwhile, NASA’s programs with experienced public institutes and organizations, such as the Jet Propulsion Lab at Caltech are landing on Mars and flying helicopters on the Red Planet.

Meanwhile, in China, using the old USA-NASA playbook of a publicly-led space program, in December 2013, China’s uncrewed Chang’e-3 made the world’s first lunar soft landing since 1976. And, in January 2019, the uncrewed Chang’e-4 landed on the far side of the moon, a first.

Jeff Bezos‘ Blue Origin rocket exploded during testing – and he didn’t tell anyone. The Blue Origin incident came just one month after securing $3.4 billion NASA contract. And so it goes in the privatized, deregulated USA – billionaires paying no taxes and landing contracts that taxpayers fund for the sake of inane billionaire vanity projects.

Joe Biden to One-Up George W. Bush – Starts Another War, With Yemen.

In a bid to become the most reviled president ever, and with total ignorance of world history, including the 1953 UK-USA overthrow of a democratically elected president of Iran so that Winston Churchill could emotionally substitute his alcohol induced impotence with the feeling of hegemonic elation having stolen Iran’s oil. Churchill also started a war in Egypt over control of the Suez Canal, another reason why the UK is sinking and no longer a world power. Conservative, warmongering leadership destroys countries. Genocide Joe wants to start more wars than Churchill and Bush combined. Joe knows time is limited. One year from now, he’ll be retired watching news casts of all the children he brutally murdered in Gaza. So he must act quick. He’s only got 5 wars ongoing. And, yes, he’s sent US military groups to Israel to be directly involved in the murder of Palestinians.

Churchill, a horrible strategist, was more responsible than any other Briton for the direction of a war (WW2) that ended later and more expensively than needed, leaving most of Europe under the heel of the Soviet Union, and leaving Britain bankrupt and beholden to allied and imperial creditors. Joe thinks he can one-up the braggadocious alcoholic of Briton. But can Joe surpass fellow American, George W. Bush? Bush killed about 500,000 people in Iraq, and Biden is only at about 50,000 in Palestine (many haven’t been counted yet), and not enough yet in Yemen. Like Gaza, Yemen is poor, so it should be easy for Biden to slaughter many there. Who cares if Yemen is defending Gaza against the Israeli-American genocide – there’ money to be made. All the US weapons used to attack Yemen over the last decade has not been enough and needs to be ramped up – that’s the directive of the billionaire-led Industrial-Military-Complex. And each CEO of those military contractors makes much more money during war. They love Genocide Joe.

Bush’s escapades, including his wars, led to the eventual financial collapse of the US. No problem though. The USA printed a lot of money and then gave it to the billionaires. Little of the handouts reached the middle class, but they’re the ones to pay off the debt. That’s the way it goes with wars – the rich get richer, the middle class pays for it, and the poor die.

Joe likes that plan. His Zionist billionaire handlers have him bombing Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and now Yemen. Who’s next? As the big bucks are spent on war, the deficit is soaring, but billionaires in the US and Israel are becoming richer as poor people in Gaza die.

Ten years from now, when people move beyond their current hysteria and realize they’re puppets on a string for the billionaires, much like what happened with George W Bush, Joe Biden will be viewed as one the worse US presidents. When I stare at his vacuous face on TV, I wonder if Genocide Joe even knows what he’s doing. And where is his great teacher of children, his wife Jill? She pretends to care about children, but I haven’t heard a word from her about the suffering of children in Palestine. Not one word, Jill. History will not be kind.

Arena BioWorks a Privately Funded Biomedical Institute Launches to Quickly Make More Money for its Billionaire Backers

As billionaires self-aggrandize through inheritances, subsidies and tax breaks, they fund really stupid projects that make them more money, but offer the public no benefits.

Most innovation arises from public funding. Whether it’s the transistor, the new and widely used 3D transistor, solar panels, lithium-ion batteries, the internet, the smart phone, integrated circuits, electronic design automation, prescription drugs, CRISPR gene editing, the biotech industry, etc. – they all arise from government funding and support, mostly at our universities, especially at our public universities, of which Berkeley excels. Arrogant billionaires, suffering from the Power Paradox, think they know better.

As billionaires make more money and pay little or no taxes, the ability to fund independent, academic researchers through public funding is dwindling. Luring scientists and physicians from academia with large paychecks, billionaires are seeking huge returns by developing more drugs. Given that most prescription drugs don’t work and cause harm, and that most diseases have environmental causes, which is ignored by private enterprise, the shift of “research” funding to private, for profit entities instead of public, non-profit entities will further the profit-driven motives and poor performance of the world’s most expensive and worst healthcare system. It’s a privatized system and has been for a long time. And it’s becoming more privatized with worse outcomes. Private equity takeovers by billionaires are part of the problem. Let’s just forget about the 900 widely used chemicals that are involved in causing breast cancer – let’s make drugs and lots of money instead. Remember, steep rises in cancer and other diseases means the diseases are environmentally caused and not genetic in their origin.

If you think I’m exaggerating about prescription drugs and medical procedures mostly not working, look at the evidence. There’s an epidemic of needless stenting and the associated drugs used during and after the procedure. Likewise for the epidemics of C-sections and antidepressant drugs. For example, a new study has found that fluoxetine (Prozac) for adolescents, the placebo effect predicted good outcomes, but the actual drug treatment did not. Cancer drugs – most don’t work, it’s bad, and many people are also misdiagnosed with cancer and irradiated, which of course can cause cancer. And those C-sections result in dysbiosis of the baby, and, as published in JAMA, possibly colorectal cancer. The epidemic of C-sections, contributing to an epidemic of cancer, and an epidemic of drug use. It’s a bonanza for physicians and corporations.

Part of the problem is that physicians are incented to sell drugs and do procedures. They are the sales people for the drug companies. Only they can sell the prescription drugs, and that’s how they make their money- selling drugs. Part of the problem too is that those selling the prescription drugs, physicians, don’t understand that most drugs lack good evidence for safety and efficacy, with many studies being fraudulent and/or poorly designed. They don’t understand the FDA approval process. according to the journal Health Affairs, “Our findings suggest that physicians commonly lack familiarity with drug and medical device regulatory practices and are under the impression that the data supporting FDA drug and high-risk device approvals are more rigorous than they often are.” Incented to make money at all levels by selling drugs is a big part of the problem. Do we think a health institute funded by a private equity (Bain Capital) billionaire will help solve these problems or add to them? Private equity specializes in making our healthcare system worse than it already was.

Instead of spending money on the key determinants of disease, namely environmental factors (exposome), which doesn’t make money for billionaires, another institute has been created by billionaires to develop money-making drugs. It’s the standard model in the USA, make drugs that treat symptoms, with the new drugs causing adverse events. Then treat the symptoms of the adverse event with another drug, that then causes another adverse event. Continue this cycle throughout people’s lives, until the time when they reach gerontological status, and the billionaires become richer as the gerontological patients is on average taking 15 prescription drugs. Code name for this cascade of prescriptions is “polypharmacy.” Never mind the prevalence of inappropriate medication used by the elderly people has found to be from 11.5-62.5%.

In “Realizing the True Cost of Billionaire Philanthropy,” Bella DeVaan and her colleagues reveal some of the problems. “For better or worse,” said Steven A. Edwards, a policy analyst at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, “the practice of science in the twenty-first century is becoming shaped less by national priorities or by peer-review groups and more by the particular preferences of individuals with huge amounts of money.” Indeed, critics have argued that many donors, impatient with the deliberate pace of public science, are ignoring basic research in favor of more popular, feel-good projects. And billionaires profit from tax breaks to the institutes and from contracts and eventual profits realized from their “tax-breaked research.”

What results? The same old billionaire-funded crap we’ve seen for years, like the much ballyhooed, but failed biotech company that Leroy Hood, M.D., started and destroyed on a really stupid idea.

As USA Pumps Money to Militaries Around the World to Murder People, Our Deficit Soars

Genocide Joe and his Military-Industrial-Complex and Zionist billionaire buddies are making boodles of bucks as they slaughter people around the world. Whether it’s Democrats or Republicans, wars are great for the rich guys who support either party because the rich guys make money by starting wars, as they send other people to do the fighting. It’s the rich man’s war, and the poor man’s fight.

And the rich pay little of no taxes. It’s socialism for the rich, crapitalism for the middle class and poor. Because the rich just make money on war, but pay nothing to support it, fiscal deficits arise. Big ones. For the period from October 2023 through December 2023, the budget deficit totaled nearly $510 billion, following a shortfall of $129.4 billion in just December alone, which was 52% higher than a year ago. The jump in the deficit pushed total government debt past $34 trillion for the first time.

U.S. military spending in 2022 came to $1.537 trillion, as opposed to the $765.8 billion in acknowledged (OMB) defense spending (and the $876 billion estimated by SIPRI and $821 billion by NATO). This means that actual U.S. military spending in 2022 was more than double the acknowledged “defense spending” provided by OMB.

A big thanks to Joe Biden for using the George W. Bush strategy of waging unwinnable wars around the world, and a big thanks to Donald Trump for using the Ronald Reagan strategy of waging war on the middle class by cutting taxes to the wealthy and leaving it to the middle class to pay for the slaughters.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken (I ain’t blinken when a bomb explodes and kills innocent people), an architect of hegemonic wars in Iraq and Palestine along with his long-time friend, Joe Blast’em Away Biden, today was in the Middle East calling for the Israeli-US genocide in Palestine to not spread beyond Palestine. Much to Bibi Netanyahu’s (a secular Zionist, not a Jew) chagrin, the US does not want to, at this time, invade Lebanon. Ronald Reagan’s Crapitalism is at stake. Donald Trump’s tax cuts made the billionaires super-billionaires, and they don’t want the spicket turned off. A wider war threatens the flow of money to the super wealthy. Yes, the Military-Industrial Complex is greatly benefitting from the wars in Palestine and Ukraine, but the MIC knows that for money to be made, these wars need to be constrained to those regions where they have told the politicians to fight. Unconstrained wars can rise to a point where maximum profit is initially realized but very quickly reaches an exponential downturn.

Blinken said that he doesn’t want Palestinians forced out of Gaza. He wants Palestinians to remain in a constrained area where the Israelis can use US weapons to easily finish the genocide. This helps to prevent the spread of war to areas beyond those that Israel has planned to steal. From the Jordan River to the Sea is the current Israeli objective, blessed by Zionist in the USA.

Working with a blood-thirsty, incompetent Israeli army , but loaded with sophisticated US weapons, so heinous that it shoots its own people up close, Blinken has called for food to be shipped to Palestinians so that Israeli soldiers have live targets to torture and kill. Allowing starvation of the Palestinian people would displease Israeli soldiers who are desirous of personally murdering Palestinian women and children.

Blinken realizes that Israel’s BS stories, such as their rape story, are beginning to fail, and that the Israeli army is so incompetent that it killed most of the people on Oct 7, including its own people living in the settlement, including children, so allowing incompetent savages with US weapons into a sophisticated Lebanon would be a disaster. With many of the US weapons in the hands of Israelis being destroyed by the small group of Hamas fighters, Blinken realizes this is a big drain on the US military budget and another US hegemonic failure that shouldn’t be expanded. There are weaker people to pick on than the fighters in Lebanon.

Antony plans, in agreement with his MIC and Zionist billionaire handlers, to maximize profits for the billionaires, which is win-win given a part of the profits are used as bribes to our politicians, including the Trump and Biden campaigns. The only difference, Trump likes nuclear weapons, Biden and Blinken don’t.
